Sweet and Sacred Solace

Have you confessed before Godthat you are a sinner in need of a Saviour?Have you, by faith received redemption's gift,salvation for your soul?Have you experienced the joy and peace that only God's full forgiveness brings?Do you have the assurance, when death comesThat Jesus' death and resurrectionconquered the grave?!If so, have we not the best reason to rejoiceall the days of our life,with reverent adorationfor the sweet and sacred solace ofGod's abiding Presence, no matter what befalls?! In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”
