Remembrance Hymn
Oh, let me not forgetTo let hope intercedeFor He who died to pay sin’s debtHas met my greatest need
And let me keep in mindWith every breath I takeThe mercies of a God so kindWho suffered for my sake
Then, when troubles befallForbid, I should despairBut with unshaken faith recallGod’s love beyond compare
The love that did not shirkThe cross, nor fled its dreadBut endured till the finished workHad crushed the serpent’s head
Nothing I wrought could winThe grace that I receivedThat saved me from the wage of sin The hour I believed
Oh, let me not forgetThe cross that Jesus boreOn my behalf, to seal the ‘Yet’Of life forevermore
Then, let no dearer laudMy fleeting frame enticeThan to be, for the love of GodA living sacrifice

Romans 12:1Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
