On Living Life to the Max
For today's prompt, write a maximum poem...
We never know what a day will bringso let's live each one to the max!
These past few evenings have been spent in the barn next door...It reminded me of a song from my youth..esp. this line'it's nice to think about it, maybe even visit, but I wonder, could I live there anymore'.becauseFarming is very serious business these days, and not for the faint of heart.
let's live life toits precious max, work hard, love kindly, run, relax
push, pull, pray, playsmile, sing, give thanksmake the most ofspring-green creek banks
pick buttercupsplant seeds, sip teaengage inreal-time poetry
aware of thefar-reaching wayof deeds we do and words we say
where finding joyis no secret the more we givethe more we get
where happinessholds out its key...to make the mostof you and me
so, let's live lifeto its lent maxthe same up frontas behind backs
