Of Common and Sacred Sureness
Update: When I wrote today's poem I didn't dream that this would mark the day of
No matter how we get there,we sacredly and surely all will!
(and so nice to have helping hands along the way!)
One thing we have in commonNo matter who we areA sure and sacred summonsWill fling a Door ajarThat leads into a portalWhere Time will cease to beFrom mortal to immortalFor all eternity
Farewell to all comparingWhere we dwell side by sideThe tent of our bearingThe means of our rideHowever high or lowlyOf sky and land and seaAll are bound for the holyGate of eternity
Ferrari, Lamborghini,Bike, airplane, mule and cartThe wheels to infinityIs not the crucial partThe mode of transportationIn death, disintegratesWhen the God of salvationParts eternity’s gates
This world’s clutter and clatterIs the fleeting façadeOf a most sacred matter‘Prepare to meet Thy God’For He alone is waitingWhere time no more will beNo more doubt or debatingFor all eternity
…where what we have in commonIs Time’s sure curtain- closeWho next will hear death’s summonsOnly life’s Giver knowsAs Last Breath dooms or frees us Pray, which one will it beEither Satan or JesusFor all eternity

Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Heb.2:1-4Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?
