Loving Masterpiece...

Each day unfurls its lease of lifeGlad laughter swirls with sorrow’s tearsTo follow footsteps that run rifeAcross a world of yesteryears... 'Maybe I'm living in the past', I commented to my daughteras I scanned grocery-flyers, searching for what seem to be sale-prices of a bygone era. We all know we cannot live in the past;each day is its own Present Newnessnever to return! Each day is charged with what yet waitsTo tune replies with grin-and-groanTo fulfill that which orchestratesBoth stumbling-block and stepping-stone Each day unfurls its lease of lifeGlad laughter swirls with sorrow’s tearsThen follows footsteps that run rifeAcross a world of yesteryears Each day is primed with Time’s decreaseFour-season circuits ebb and flowHello-farewell, embrace-releaseHeart-pieces scatter as we go No matter how common or grandEach day is never commonplaceFor it is a gift from God’s handA loving masterpiece of grace © Janet Martin Hallelujah ! Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His loving devotion endures forever.
