Life runs rife with highs and lowsJoy and strife of thorn and roseBow before its Lord and prayThen rise up and seize the day
Taste the fervor of the hourMake the most of every flow’rBear the brunt of fading grassEverything comes, but to pass
Trace the tender timbre ofEvery splendor, every loveLinger where the waning lightTucks the day beneath goodnight
…cradled in the keeping ofUnfailing goodness and loveWhile the days-to-years run rifeWith laughter and tears of life
Darling, with so much amissIn the thick of that and thisIt takes more than we possessTo muster/master true happiness/holiness
While season to season flowsWhile reason staggers 'neath blowsWhile change is a constant rodBow before life’s changeless God
Trust in Him with all your heartDust to dust sees but in partBut God never leads astrayBow before him oft, and pray
For the likes of me and youHave so much to learn, tis truePray, we find love's rare romanceOnly trust in the Lord grants
Pray we find faith's treasured MustSorrow's/trouble's silver lining; trust Pray before we start each dayWe bow before God and pray
